Golden Moments...

Everyone was happy to return to school after our half term break, and we’ve been busy learning and creating special moments all over school.

In Beehive class they enjoyed engaging in their first session from the English National Opera. They enjoyed exploring the colour blue and listening to blue music, followed by exploring our own sounds together. They also liked wearing their ENO composer lanyard badges!

They explored playing lots of different instruments, and the session seemed to spark real interest in the joy of making music.

In Squirrel class on Monday, one young learner independently made an obstacle course for his friends, using the large construction equipment in the Explorers playground - a builder in the making! They also really enjoyed making and exploring biscuit dough in maths whilst exploring weights.

And at the end of the week, in Acorn class they made bonfire pictures and one child in particular engaged and participated beautifully - staff said they had never seen him do so much work - a golden moment indeed!
