Election Fever

Students have been campaigning and putting up posters in school to try to win votes for the Student Council Election, which finally took place today!

This week, our whole school came together to take part in the elections. Pupils experienced a real democratic voting process, learning about the importance of having a voice, making informed choices, and contributing to decisions that affect our school community.

Voting took place this morning, in either the Wainwright Hall or Darwen Hall and we made sure everyone voted - staff too!

We would like to say a huge well done to all of our amazing candidates who bravely put themselves forward and worked hard on their campaigns. We are incredibly proud of each and every one of you for showing confidence, determination, and a commitment to making a difference.

A special congratulations goes to our nine successful candidates - we look forward to seeing if you keep your pledges - a four day week has been rumoured!

We look forward to seeing how you represent your friends, gather opinions, and share pupils’ views to help make our school an even better place.

Well done to everyone who took part in this fantastic celebration of pupil voice and democracy!
