This morning a group of staff and students were involved in the re-accreditation of the Rights Respecting School Award and I’m pleased to say that we passed with flying colours.
Thank you to all those involved in the process, both today and for all of the work done towards the award.
Being a ‘Rights Respecting’ school is in our every day practice here at Newfield - ensuring our students are safe, heard and respected comes as second nature and it’s fab to be able to showcase and be recognised for this.
We began our RRSA journey with UNICEF in 2011 - so we have got lots of experience in putting our children’s rights at the heart of everything we do and making sure that we help children every where to be aware of their rights.
