Father Christmas Visits 2025

Today and Yesterday we have had a very special visitor, who has come to Newfield to deliver parcels to all of our children and young people.

Father Christmas and his cheeky elf have spent their time with us in the special igloo, all the way from the North Pole.

They have been meeting everyone and handing out the gifts, that were once again very kindly donated from the amazingly generous people of Blackburn, via the Dunelm Delivering Joy initiative.

Back in October, children in classes filled in a gift tag from Dunelm saying what they would like for Christmas, with some help from staff, they were then taken down to Dunelm by our family wellbeing coordinators AnnMarie and Mathilde, and the staff there put them in their in-store tree.

People chose a tag, went and bought the gift and wrapped it and delivered it back to the store, and then the staff from Dunelm brought these piles of gifts up to school ready for Santa to distribute!

The children all had a really magical time - we are so privileged to see their faces and enjoyment from meeting Father Christmas and receiving a gift - it truly is a joy to see.

A huge thank you to Father Christmas and Elves, the staff supporting, the amazing people of Dunelm Blackburn and most of all the very kind people of Blackburn and Darwen who have made this Christmas so special for our wonderful children!

Merry Christmas everyone!
