Well we had a very successful stay and play session this afternoon. Our wheelchair dancing session with parents was amazing.
Each week pupils enjoy taking part in wheelchair dance sessions with students from Stonyhurst College, and this week, because they are already on half term holidays, we invited parents instead!
Everyone thoroughly enjoyed it - joining in with the dancing, the parachute session, playing musical instruments - everyone had lots of fun!
This was followed by cakes and smoothies which had been made by classes in their sensory baking sessions.
It was lovely to see so many parents and have them engaging in the session with their children, seeing their smiles, anticipation, communication and physical involvement.
It was a very positive experience.
