Art Exhibition 2025

Today we held our annual Art Exhibition - it has really become quite the cultural highlight of our year, with pupils showing off the incredible work they have done, and parents and visitors being able to browse, and purchase, some beautiful original pieces of art.

There were lots of paintings, collages, junk modelling, sculpture - a really varied array of styles of art demonstrating the talent of our children.

The children’s work that was displayed was centred around the theme of the half terms curriculum. We had some very interesting pieces and some fantastic creative imagination must have gone into them.

All pupils at Newfield will work towards and receive the accredited Arts Award during their time with us, and the art exhibition is the culmination of the work towards that.

We had a good turn out and had some lovely comments about the work from parents. We had some lovely comments from parents from “oh! What a lovely idea!” to a parent wanting to purchase others students artwork as well as her own child’s to display at home!

A big thank you to teacher Gemma for coordinating the exhibition and to all who helped set up – whether that be setting up tables, chairs, lights, screens, setting up artwork, buying canvases etc - it was all were a great help.

Well done to all staff involved but most importantly to the children for their creativity. Once again you have amazed us - we cant wait to see what you produce next year!
